Thank you - I typically don't like the light this bright...but without it I don't think I would have gotten that detail on his eye - trade offs, eh? Lately, my better shots have been taken much later in the afternoon, when the sun is lower in the sky. This rail is under my porch overhang, so lighting is a little tricky.

It's a good time for you, i guess. My bay window faces south, so the Sun is always behind the birds, and early morning and late afternoon, it's blocked by trees. Argh, Ima cut those trees down, someday! lol

They're big, but not VERY big. I'm sick of those trees. We have about 10,000 trees and a few won't be missed.

I have 2 chainsaws, but I'm afraid to cut down trees. Last time I did, the tree fell the wrong way and almost took out my power line. I had to do some dangerous things to remedy that. :fear:
