The feeders were dominated by the chickadees and titmice today, but this Male purple finch and his partner stopped by - he stopped for a split second to think - which is how long finches stop for - before leaving his spot for the female.

Yup!! I kept trying to get that damn squirrel IN the snow on the ground, but he kept hopping from tree to tree :laughing:... I had to settle for him on a branch :)
